What happened to WeGoBuy?

People still search "wegobuy login", "wegobuy website" and "wegobuy app" as if the site might come back, and that's understandable: WeGoBuy never said it was closing. KakoGuide traced what did happen in its June 2026 review:

• 2019WeGoBuy launches as a sister site to Superbuy, sharing its warehouse set-up but with looser item policies.
• December 7, 2024The last archived snapshot of a working wegobuy.com homepage.
• Mid-Dec 2024 – late Jan 2025The site goes offline.
• 2025–2026wegobuy.com resolves to an "offline" placeholder with a null address (169.254.254.254). No announcement, and no published process for balances or stored parcels.
• September 28, 2026Our check: the domain still fails to load, pointing at the same null address.

Some directory sites still describe WeGoBuy as active; their pages appear not to have been updated. Claims that WeGoBuy merged into AllChinaBuy have no supporting evidence, according to KakoGuide.

Verdict: Treat WeGoBuy as closed. Don't send money to any site claiming to be WeGoBuy, and don't expect it to reopen.

Was WeGoBuy part of Superbuy?

Closely linked, by most accounts. A 2019 JadeShip post introduced wegobuy.com as "a replacement for Superbuy", written by an author who said he knew Superbuy staff, at a time when Superbuy was tightening its rules on branded items. The same post was careful to say it wasn't an official announcement and that balances couldn't be moved between the two. KakoGuide describes WeGoBuy as Superbuy's sister brand sharing the same warehouse infrastructure. Superbuy's chief executive, for his part, publicly denied a link, according to a World Trademark Review headline.

For a former WeGoBuy user the practical question is simpler: is Superbuy the natural next stop? It's the closest in style — long-established, fee-free on Taobao and 1688, 90 days of free storage — but it applies the stricter item policy that WeGoBuy was set up to avoid. If your old sheet was full of designer labels, expect some Superbuy cancellations.

How to reuse an old WeGoBuy spreadsheet

WeGoBuy links were built like Superbuy's: an agent address wrapped around the original marketplace link. Every row in an old WeGoBuy sheet still points, underneath, to a Taobao, Tmall, 1688 or Weidian listing.

1. Extract the original. Paste the WeGoBuy link into our link converter, or look for the encoded taobao.com or weidian.com address inside it.
2. Check it's still listed. Sheets from 2019–2024 are old; many sellers have moved or delisted items since.

If you still had a WeGoBuy balance or stored parcels

This is the hard part, and there's no good news in the record: KakoGuide found no documented wind-down for balances or warehoused parcels. If you're only discovering the closure now, it has been well over a year, which puts most card and PayPal dispute windows out of reach. It's still worth writing down what you had and asking your payment provider directly; their rules differ, and only they can say whether anything is recoverable.

The broader lesson applies to every agent on this site: keep balances small, top up just before you buy, and don't leave items in storage longer than you need to. AllChinaBuy's and CNFans' customers learned the same thing in 2026.
