What does Superbuy charge? The official fee table

Superbuy is one of the few agents that publishes its fees in full. The headline — no service fee — applies to the big Alibaba-owned marketplaces and JD.com. Everything else, including Weidian, pays a percentage with a floor and a ceiling.

Because of the ¥20 cap, the Weidian fee matters most on cheap items. A ¥80 T-shirt pays ¥10 (the minimum); a ¥180 hoodie pays ¥18; anything above ¥200 pays the ¥20 cap however expensive it is. On a haul of ten Weidian pieces that's at most ¥200, roughly $28 — worth knowing when you compare Superbuy with agents that advertise no fee on Weidian.

Verdict: Superbuy is genuinely fee-free for Taobao and 1688 finds. For Weidian finds, budget up to ¥20 per item.

Superbuy's paid extras, and which ones are worth it

The fee page also prices a set of optional services. None are required, but they are where a Superbuy bill quietly grows:

• Worth it: a couple of ¥2 detailed photos of the part you care about most — a logo, a stitch line, a sole edge. For ¥4 you check exactly what would make you send it back.
• Sometimes worth it: the ¥6 re-inspection after an exchange, to confirm the replacement is actually different.
• Rarely worth it: ¥30 model try-on shots. Measurements against a garment you own tell you more about fit.

How Superbuy's storage clock works

Each item gets 90 days of free storage from the day it arrives. After that Superbuy charges ¥0.1 per item per day, and nothing can stay beyond 180 days in total; an optional extension costs ¥10 a month. In practice the daily charge is small — 30 extra days on five items is ¥15 — but the 180-day hard stop is the number to remember.

That makes Superbuy a little less flexible than KakoBuy's 100 free days or Basetao's advertised 180, but easier to plan around than agents that don't publish a storage policy at all.

Verdict: Ship within 90 days to pay nothing; never let anything drift towards day 180.

Why Superbuy is stricter about branded items

Superbuy has a longer and more public relationship with brand owners than most agents. Its chief executive has publicly pledged to work with brand owners against infringing listings, according to World Trademark Review, and older buyer guides describe Superbuy refusing to purchase or ship certain branded items. The practical result is that some listings a newer agent would process without comment may be cancelled or held at Superbuy.

This is a policy choice, not a quality problem, and it cuts both ways. Superbuy's caution is part of why it has outlasted agents that closed abruptly, and why payment providers and couriers keep working with it. If your spreadsheet leans on designer labels, expect friction. If it's mostly unbranded basics, small labels and 1688 stock, Superbuy's caution rarely gets in the way, and its long track record and published fees count for more.

Superbuy scores 4.5/5, with 78% five-star and 14% one-star reviews; 92 were posted in the last twelve months. Positive reviews dwell on secure packing and items arriving "in pristine condition", plus a support team that sorts problems quickly. Negative ones mention a limited choice of shipping lines, unexpected delays, surprises in the shipping calculation and payment processing fees.

One detail stands out: Superbuy replies to 95% of its negative reviews, usually within a week, pointing customers to its support address. That doesn't guarantee a good outcome, but it does mean there is someone to argue with.

Verdict: Superbuy is the safe, well-documented choice. You pay for that in fewer shipping options and less tolerance for branded goods.
