Which links can iTaoBuy buy that other agents struggle with?

iTaoBuy's homepage describes it as an agent for "Taobao, 1688, yupoo, xianyu, and Weidian". Three of those are routine. Two are not:

• Xianyu is Alibaba's second-hand marketplace. Listings are one-off items from private sellers, often with no stock count and no return policy, which is why some agents charge extra or refuse them — Superbuy, for comparison, charges a flat ¥20 per second-hand item.
• Yupoo isn't a shop at all but a photo-album host. A Yupoo album usually points to a seller's Weidian store or a chat contact, so an agent that "buys from Yupoo" is really contacting the seller for you.

If your spreadsheet has rows that are only a Yupoo album link or a Xianyu listing, iTaoBuy is one of the few agents that names both as sources. For ordinary Taobao and Weidian finds, like the 16 above, it has no special advantage.

A word of caution on second-hand rows. Xianyu sellers are private individuals, listings disappear once sold, and condition descriptions are the seller's own. Ask iTaoBuy to photograph any flaw the listing mentions before you approve shipping, and expect that a cheap Xianyu find may simply be gone by the time the agent tries to buy it.

Verdict: Use iTaoBuy for the awkward rows — Yupoo albums and Xianyu one-offs. For standard links, pick on price and track record.

iTaoBuy's 120-day storage rule

According to KakoGuide's June 2026 review, iTaoBuy stores items free for 90 days. After that you have 30 more days, and then unclaimed items are destroyed. That's a 120-day hard limit, and KakoGuide notes it is tighter than most competitors' policies.

1. Note the arrival date of each item — iTaoBuy's clock runs per item, not per haul.
2. Plan to ship by day 80, which leaves a buffer for exchanges.
3. If you'll be away or unsure, message support before day 90 and keep the reply.

Compare that with KakoBuy's 100 free days with paid extensions, or Basetao's advertised 180. iTaoBuy isn't unusually short on free days; it's unusually strict about what happens afterwards.

Verdict: Never leave iTaoBuy items past day 90 without a written arrangement.

What will an iTaoBuy order cost?

Harder to say than for most agents. The App Store listing describes "two levels of fees: 1. Product fees, 2. Logistics fees", and KakoGuide could not find the service fee published anywhere it could verify. App reviewers add a related complaint: shipping costs aren't disclosed until after the product is bought.

The actual-weight billing on US and EU small-packet routes is good news for bulky, light parcels, which aren't charged for their volume. For everything else, get a written quote before paying for international shipping, and screenshot the product-fee line on your first order so you know what "product fees" includes.

Verdict: iTaoBuy's delivery times are competitive; its pricing is opaque. Make the first order small and fully documented.

How much of a track record does iTaoBuy have?

Not much yet. The iOS app appeared in 2024 and the service went public around March 2025, so iTaoBuy has roughly eighteen months of history. KakoGuide found little discussion of it on the main community forums, no third-party shipping benchmarks, and no published policy on the US or EU duty changes of 2025–2026. We couldn't load its Trustpilot page when we checked; its App Store rating was 3.6/5 from 48 ratings.

The company behind it, HK SELL GOOD THINGS TECHNOLOGY CO., LIMITED, is named as the seller on the App Store listing, and the app was updated within the last few days when we checked — a sign of active development. The listing also says iTaoBuy accepts credit cards and PayPal, which matters more than usual for a young agent: PayPal's dispute process is your fallback if an order goes wrong and support is slow to respond.

None of that is a red flag on its own — every agent was new once — but it means there's no long record to lean on if something goes wrong. Pay with a method that allows disputes, keep your first balance small, and keep the original marketplace link for every row so you can move to another agent easily.
